Headline: RAW VIDEO: Designers Create Disposable Finger Covers To Stop Touch Screen Bacteria Spread

Caption: A tech firm has developed a method to avoid the transmission of germs via touchscreens. Swedish startup Paprtect have created compostable paper covers for your fingers to help stop the spread of germs when using public touch screens. The covers are dispensed via automatic machines which dish out 2,100 covers before needed reloading. Paprtect is also eco-friendly, as the dispenser is crafted from recycled plastic in Sweden. From fast food restaurants to hotels, grocery stores, hospitals, and shopping malls, Paprtect fits seamlessly into any high-traffic setting where touch screens are used frequently. Karolina Malmlöv, COO of Paprtect, said, "Touchscreens and buttons that are frequently touched by many people are often not really cleaned. That makes them a common source for bacteria and viruses to spread between individuals who uses them." In its research, Paprtect found there was a 76% reduction in living organisms on touch screens where our solution has been implemented, which was also achieved without toxic chemicals from cleaning fluids. While Paprtect is an eco-friendly choice, it also proves to be cost-effective. The innovative method demands considerably less attention than the constant screen cleaning approach. Businesses equipped with service desk screens, machines, or other commonly touched surfaces often face the challenge of maintaining cleanliness. For a surface to remain clean and safe, it needs a thorough chemical wipe after every 10-20 users. However, most businesses fall short, averaging fewer than 5 cleanings. As no one physically touches the screen, Paprtect removes the high levels of bacteria that need to be regularly removed by cleaning the screen.
