Unveiled on 1 March, the H1X by Doroni Aerospace is an electric flying vehicle boasting a top speed of 120 mph while remaining environmental sustainable. CEO and founder, Doron Merdinger said that the H1X offers, “The experience of how people are going to enjoy earth, without the need to destroy it”. Designed to fit into a garage, the H1X also features a c.arbon fibre body, EV charging capabilities, 45-minute flight time, 25-minute charging time and anti-collision sensors with 360-degree monitoring. Controlled by a joystick and semi-autonomous system, the space-car has been designed to be user-friendly. Planned for commuter use, the Florida-based company aims to sell six H1Xs in 2025 and eventually increase production to seven per day. In an Instagram post, the company stated: “The H1-X embodies our commitment to pioneering sustainable, efficient, and safe air mobility solutions. “The H1-X isn’t just a new vehicle; it’s a new way to think about commuting and logistics.” Each flying car will cost between $300,000 and $400,000 (£236,250 - £315,000). To date, the company has received 450 pre-orders and around $6 million (£4.7 million) in crowdfunding. The aerospace firm aims to further develop its urban air mobility solutions to free commuters from congested roads, redefining how the world travels.
