Headline: RAW VIDEO: Pan-tastic Mr. Fox! Wily Critter Spends Night In Euston Station Loo

Caption: Over the weekend, a clever fox managed to slip unnoticed into Euston Station's toilets. Shortly before 8:30 am on Monday (16October2023) station staff discovered the fox curled up into a tight ball, seemingly lacking an ingenious escape plan. In response to this unusual situation, station personnel promptly contacted the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), and one of their team members arrived to rescue the 'not-so-fantastic Mr Fox'. Gareth Parry, the station manager at London Euston, commented on the extraordinary encounter, saying, "The Monday morning peak period often has something which can outfox our teams – but an actual fox in the toilets is a new one for me as a station manager. Our priority was to ensure that, in addition to the fox being safe, it did not react in fear towards any of our staff or members of the public. Thankfully, the RSPCA was able to safely place it in an animal carrier and transport it away for a thorough check-up." The fox was safely removed from the lavatory just before 10 am, following its 90-minute ordeal, and taken from the station to be examined by a veterinarian. In the meantime, the toilet facilities were thoroughly cleaned, and the cubicle was soon made available to the public again. This incident is not the first time that animals have caused disruptions at Euston station. In 2021, a cat perched itself on top of an Avanti West Coast train, temporarily preventing it from making its journey to Manchester.
