Headline: Incredible Bubble Submarine Takes Passengers To The Sea Floor In Style

Caption: A Florida-based company has unveiled designs for a next-gen submarine that offers spectacular views 660ft under the sea. Triton Submarines' state-of-the-art submersible is poised to transform how the public experiences marine exploration, offering an unparalleled glimpse into the ocean's wonders. Dubbed the Triton 660/9 AVA, the submarine boasts a rapid reconfiguration capability between dives and can host a variety of exclusive underwater activities, such as dinner or cocktail dives, spa sessions, or even underwater gaming, according to a press release. It accommodates nine individuals - eight passengers and one pilot - who can enjoy the aquatic view through a large, dome-shaped window. The cosy interior features plush leather seats, ambient mood lighting, and a surround-sound system, enhancing the deep-sea exploration with music. The Triton recently celebrated the successful testing and DNV certification of the submarine and has now been delivered to cruise and travel company Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours. It has now been completely incorporated into the Scenic Eclipse II cruise ship, allowing people onboard to explore the ocean’s depths like never before. Despite its versatile features, the Triton 660 AVA comes with a hefty price tag of $6.3 million (£5 million). Patrick Lahey, President and Co-Founder of Triton Submarines, expressed gratitude towards Scenic for their trust in Triton's innovative capabilities with the 660/9 AVA, describing it as a groundbreaking shift in oceanic interaction and exploration. Triton recently celebrated the successful testing and DNV certification of the submarine. Jason Flesher, Scenic Director of Discovery Operations, said, "The clarity of the acrylic hull once submerged is such that you feel at one with the water.' "Encountering the vibrant marine life of the South Pacific and Australia's Great Barrier Reef within Scenic Neptune II will create memories to last a lifetime."
