President Zelensky expressed his concern about the indiscriminate nature of the strike, stating, "We saw this strike today. You see who we are dealing with; they don't care where they hit." The attack resulted in fatalities, with Ukrainian Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk confirming that five people were killed in the assault. Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis, who was touring the port of Odesa with President Zelensky at the time of the attack, shared his experience at a joint press conference. "Shortly after, as we were getting into our cars, we heard a big explosion," Mitsotakis stated. He emphasized the need for European leaders to visit Ukraine and witness the impact of the war firsthand. Despite the blast occurring approximately 150 meters away, no injuries were reported among the Greek delegation, Greek media reported. Following the missile strike, a defiant Zelensky and Mitsotakis visited a nine-story building in Odesa that had been damaged in a previous Russian drone attack on 2 March. The earlier attack resulted in the tragic loss of 12 lives, including five children. The leaders' visit underscored the ongoing severity of the conflict and its devastating impact on Ukrainian civilians.
