Headline: RAW VIDEO: Designs Unveiled For Supersonic 'Star Wars' Plane That Can Travel Up To 1,150mph

Caption: A groundbreaking supersonic aircraft that promises to be the next generation of commercial travel could carry 300 passengers in ultra-lux flights. Designed by Oscar Viñals of Barcelona, Spain, this spaceship-like aircraft resembles something straight out of the Star Wars universe. Known as the "Sky OV," this aircraft boasts a remarkable top speed of Mach 1.5, equivalent to approximately 1,150 miles per hour, all while being powered by environmentally friendly electricity. Its cutting-edge features include retractable wings and a transparent ceiling, creating a truly futuristic experience. Oscar Viñals explained, "The design of this concept is a fusion of future commercial and military projects, incorporating innovative fuselage shapes, engines, and construction materials." As a dedicated designer of futuristic aircraft, he aimed to inject his "personal vision" into the realm of more conventional aeronautical and aerospace concepts. Sky OV stands out in numerous ways, thanks to its bladeless engines, a translucent ceiling adorned with quantum solar dots integrated into its fuselage, and the ability to fold its wings. Furthermore, this aircraft is remarkably quiet, faster than current commercial planes, environmentally friendly with zero emissions, and capable of covering extensive distances. While Oscar envisions a military version of Sky OV in his drafts, he acknowledges that such conceptual projects require significant financing and technologies that currently exist primarily in laboratories. Sky OV represents Oscar's most recent design, following his creation of the "Hyper Sting," a concept plane set to revolutionise air travel by whisking passengers from London to New York City in just 80 minutes. This aircraft would attain speeds of 2,486 miles per hour, twice as fast as the legendary Concorde, and accommodate 170 passengers—nearly twice the Concorde's size. Reflecting on Concorde's legacy, Oscar commented, "Concorde was a brilliant piece of machinery, a noble experiment, but it put too many emissions into the environment, generated excessive noise in our communities, and was prohibitively expensive to operate." He believes that a new era of supersonic flight may be on the horizon, with various private and public initiatives underway. The name "Hyper Sting" is a nod to the aircraft's distinctive shape, featuring a sharp nose designed to control front airflow, redistributing it over the central part and wings. In 2018, Oscar introduced the "Magnavem," a superplane designed to halve the flight time from London to New York. This aircraft, named "Magnavem" (meaning "big bird" in Latin), would derive its power from a compact fusion reactor, similar to the process that sustains the sun's energy. It would also incorporate a CO2 cleaning system to enhance its environmental credentials and could be rapidly charged at its destination due to its advanced internal technology. After over a year of planning, Oscar believes that his plane could carry approximately 300 passengers and, with the wider availability of certain technologies, could potentially be ready for production within 10 to 15 years. He expressed excitement about the prospects of using a compact fusion reactor (CFR) for its inexhaustible power and robust energy production capabilities, garnering positive responses to his innovative concepts.
