Headline: RAW VIDEO: Australian Firefighters Calendar Is Back Featuring Hunky Heroes And Cute Animals

Caption: Every October a selection of Australia’s fittest firemen strip off and pose for the Australian Firefighter's Calendar in order to raise money for charity. Now into its 31st year, the popular calendar promises to light up the year ahead with hot heroes and fiery furballs. This time around, more than 25 dedicated firefighters from various sectors, including aviation, military, and urban services, have come together this year to star in six warm editions. The calendar paints a picture of the profound bond between these heroes and the animals they share the frame with. From snuggly koalas to frolicsome kittens, these images resonate with the compassion and dedication firefighters embody. Apart from the ever-popular Dog, Cat, Horse, Mixed Animal, and Classic Calendars, 2024 will also debut the Hero Calendar. This special edition captures these valiant firefighters in riveting action shots, showcasing them doing what they’re best at. Since its inception in 1993, the Australian Firefighters Calendar has raised over AU$3.4 million (US$2.14 million) for various local charities, cementing itself as more than just eye candy. Continuing its tradition, proceeds from this year’s calendar will go to nonprofits that support burning causes like the Queensland Koala Society, which relies on donations to nurse sick and wounded koalas back to health; and Kids with Cancer Foundation, which uplifts families who have found themselves in financial distress due to their child’s cancer diagnosis. Other beneficiaries include Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital, a licensed nonprofit mobile animal hospital that provides free-of-charge expert veterinarian care for traumatised and displaced wildlife; and Safe Haven Animal Rescue, an organisation of volunteers aiming to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs and cats.
