A litter of six adorable puppies, named after characters from the popular TV series Bridgerton, are looking for a "forever home" after being taken to the Cotswolds Dog and Cats Home (CDCH) in Cambridge, Gloucestershire.
Each nine-week-old Spaniel cross puppy has a unique personality that mirrors their Bridgerton namesake.
The Spaniel-cross breed litter includes Penelope, the only girl, and her five brothers: Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Gregory, and Reynolds.
Explaining the reasoning behind the names, Ebony Poole, Animal Operations Lead, said: “We always name our litter of animals after a theme so Bridgerton seemed fitting for this litter with the recent release of season 3. All the staff at the centre are huge fans of Bridgerton so it just made sense to us to go with it!
“Colin was the first little pup that we pulled out from the crate they arrived in, and we just took one look at him and thought ‘yep, he suits Colin!’.”
Bridgerton, currently in its third season on Netflix, depicts the lives of Regency debutantes, complete with high-society seduction and scandal. The charming pups at CDCH are now ready to embark on new life adventures with loving families.
The adoption cost is around £600 and includes flea and worming treatments, vaccinations, microchipping, and neutering.
