Two adorable dingo puppies have made their debut at an Australian zoo.
The 16-week-old siblings, a brother and sister named Bluey and Bandit, have been thriving under the care of the zookeepers at the Australian Reptile Park and are ready to settle into their new home.
Since their arrival, Bluey and Bandit have won over the hearts of staff and visitors. Over the last few weeks, they’ve met many guests and adjusted well to life at the sanctuary. Now trained to walk on a harness, visitors can spot the puppies strolling through the park during the day.
Managing Director Tim Faulkner said, “It’s been a pleasure watching Bluey and Bandit grow and develop their personalities. They’ve been a hit with everyone who has had the chance to meet them, and we’re thrilled that now all of our visitors will get the opportunity to spend more time with these incredible animals.”
Visitors can view Bluey and Bandit daily from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm as they continue to settle into their new environment. Additionally, guests can watch the puppies during their walks, providing a special opportunity to observe their playful behavior up close.
Named after characters from the popular children’s TV show 'Bluey', the puppies are not just an adorable attraction but also serve an important role in educating the public about the significance of dingoes in Australia’s ecosystem. As apex predators, dingoes help maintain ecological balance, and promoting awareness of their conservation is a key mission of the park.
