The R&B legend told Extra that she plans to retire from the music industry in the next few years after a career spanning three decades. Elsewhere in the interview, the Family Affair hitmaker reacted to the news that she will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at its annual ceremony on 19 October. Mary’s induction would mean joining Cher, Ozzy Osbourne, Kool & the Gang and Dave Matthews. She has agreed to perform at the Cleveland, Ohio event.
