Caption: Source Code for Far Cry has leaked online. Eurogamer report that the game, originally launched in 2004 has indeed had its source code pop up on the internet. At the end of last month, “Far Cry 1.34 Complete” made its way onto internet archive site archive.org. The evidence was spotted by well-known modder Vicnicius Medeiros, who tweeted it. It’s not clear if the code was uploaded with any subsequent patches although it seems likely if you take into account the .34 part of the 1.34 title. There is also some chatter amongst players who presumably have downloaded and run the code who have shared that the code is ‘not complete, but close’.
