The condiment, which is infused with Pepsi, "was developed with the Culinary Institute of America," CBS News reports. First, Pepsi is turned into a reduction and then blended with ingredients that result in a "sweet, citrusy taste," according to Pepsi senior director Jenny Danzi. According to Pepsi, that flavor profile is intended to perfectly complement a hot dog. "Colachup" will be available for one day only at four American ballparks on July 4. Those ballparks are Chase Field, Yankee Stadium, Target Field and Comerica Park. "Sampling carts" will be provided around the stadiums. The condiment is part of the soda manufacturer's "Better with Pepsi" campaign. The brand has also tapped into sports drinks, zero sugar sodas and partnerships with companies such as Starbucks.
