They have unionized under the name Allied Employees Guild Improving Sega (AEGIS-CWA). The idea to form a union was announced back in April, with the aim to protect employees and better their contracts including securing higher base pay, improving benefits and more. The National Labor Relations board has certified the results of the vote making SEGA the fifth video games union now existing in the United States. Ángel Gómez, a translator at Sega, said in a press release. ”We are overjoyed to celebrate our union election win as members of AEGIS-CWA.
