Caption: These are the remarkable images that won accolades at the Pink Lady Food Photographer Of The Year Awards. The overall winner was Jon Enoch's The Candy Man. His photograph shows Pappu Jaiswal - a candyfloss seller in Mumbai, India, holding his display of brightly coloured confectionery on the streets near to Versova Beach. Other stunning images include Zhonghua Yang's Hanging Up Persimmons. Taken in autumn on the loess slopes of Shanxi Province, China, it shows how the Taihang Mountains is so cold and dry that locals hang persimmons to soften and freeze. In total, 36 winners were awarded accolades and other striking images include Jonas Borg's Dinner with the King and Queen of Sweden, Felipe Pizano’s Dinner is Ready, showing a sow feeding piglets, and Khanh Phan Thi's incredible Van Gogh like image, Drying Fish. A moving portrait of love and loss is also found in Indu Vishwanath Singh's Lost Love - Grandfather. It shows a grandfather with his late wife's favourite fruit and unable to take his ring off. Other images depict everything from community meals held during conflict in Syria, to spectacular cakes with the pictures showing the beauty of food when seen through a lens.
