Headline: UNCAPTIONED: Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri to exit

Caption: Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri to Exit. Bizzarri has been CEO of Gucci since 2015. His last day with the company will be Sept. 23, Reuters reports. Gucci owner Kering has named Jean-Francois Palus to act as the company's new CEO and president during this transitional period. "Jean-Francois has been my right-hand man and a daily sparring partner for several decades. He will now focus his energy on getting our largest asset in top shape." Francois-Henri Pinault, Kering Chairman and CEO, via statement. Gucci had impressive growth under Bizzarri from 2015-2019 but failed to maintain that trajectory following the pandemic. Rivals Louis Vuitton and Hermes managed better comebacks during that period, Reuters reports. "Kering is in transition, as the relaunch of its mega-brand Gucci is still work in progress." Luca Solca, Bernstein analyst, via statement Other recent changes include Sabato De Sarno's appointment as creative director. Francesca Bellettini's new role as Kering's deputy CEO of brand development and Jean-Marc Duplaix being appointed as Kering's deputy CEO of operations and finance. De Sarno's debut fashion show will take place in Milan in September, Reuters reports. THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
