Christina Aguilera is 'so excited' to share next album. The 43-year-old pop icon has given an update on her new music, six years after the release of her last English-language album, Liberation. In a new interview with Vegas Magazine, Christina, who is currently in the middle of her 10-date Las Vegas residency, confirmed that she has been working on new music. ”It's great to be on stage because this new show in Vegas is really fuelling my creativity,” "I've been working on experimenting with new sounds and writing. A lot has happened over the past six years - huge personal and professional changes, growth and new inspirations, so I'm so excited to share all of it in the next album!”. The hitmaker's Las Vegas residency kicked off on 30 December and is due to conclude on 2 March. The residency followed her 10-month Las Vegas run in 2019 and 2020. Elsewhere in the interview, the Burlesque star opened up about her plans for the future. ”Currently, there are a few collaborations I'd love to explore with other musicians I'm a fan of.” "I'd also love to venture into additional passion projects outside of music; I've co-founded Playground, and I feel so incredibly inspired in new ways to be a part of something where I can explore new creative and business routes.” In 2022 the singer released a Spanish-language album, Aguilera, which was the follow-up to her first Spanish album, Mi Reflejo.
