Manchester United Trio Face Driving Offence Cases. Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has been fined £1,000 after admitting a speeding offence in Greater Manchester. The England international was caught driving at 37mph in a 30mph zone in Altrincham and received three penalty points on his licence. Maguire told the court he mistakenly believed he was driving in a 40mph zone and apologised for the offence. Goalkeeper Altay Bayindir was also convicted of speeding after being caught driving at 41mph in a 30mph area in Hale Barns last November. The Turkey international was fined £666, handed three penalty points and ordered to pay additional costs and a victim surcharge. Meanwhile, Brazilian striker Matheus Cunha has been charged with speeding and failing to identify the driver of a vehicle caught exceeding the speed limit. Police say a Mercedes registered to Cunha was recorded travelling at 37mph in a 30mph zone on the same road where Bayindir was caught. Cunha has not yet entered a plea and is due to appear before magistrates later this year, where a possible driving ban could be considered.
