Beyoncé quashes tour rumours. On 18 November, the National Football League (NFL) announced Beyoncé would be performing songs from Cowboy Carter at the halftime show for this year's Christmas Day game. As the show would take place in Houston, Beyoncé's home town, speculation grew that the event would mark the beginning of a larger tour for the album. However, Beyoncé's longtime representative Yvette Noel-Schure pooh-poohed the idea on 27 November. ”Untrue. Nothing to report here. The Christmas Day game, featuring Baltimore Ravens vs Houston Texans, will air live on Netflix on 25 December.
