Investigators allege the case involves laundering millions linked to luxury construction projects near Kyiv. The charges are tied to the wider “Midas” investigation surrounding Ukraine’s state energy company Energoatom. Other figures connected to the probe include businessman Timur Mindich and former deputy prime minister Oleksiy Chenyshov. President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Yermak last year after anti-corruption investigators searched his office. NABU investigators claim members of the alleged group diverted state funds into high-end real estate investments. Yermak denied wrongdoing and said he would comment further once the investigation is completed.
