Upon release, she enrolled at Portland State University, studied abroad, and interned in Argentina. Now, she's pursuing a PhD in Global Health, focusing on overdose prevention. Despite her progress, her criminal record still poses challenges. Morgan serves on Oregon’s Alcohol and Drug Policy Commission and advocates for harm reduction.
