Red Bull athlete Sean MacCormac leapt from a helicopter 5,500 feet above the Bay. Strapped to a custom board, he slid along the bridge’s massive suspension cables. After a three-minute flight, he landed safely on a floating barge below. MacCormac called it the "wildest and most intense project of his career”. The feat took months of planning, engineering, and coordination with authorities. He trained on a crane rig in California to mimic the Bay Bridge cables.
