RPG game Moonlighter is getting a sequel with a fresh twist. Eurogamer reported that Moonlighter surprises fans with a sequel, shifting from 2D pixel art to full 3D. Announced at the PC Gaming Show, Digital Sun returns with Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, the sequel to its 2018 indie hit. The sequel blends fantasy RPG and shop sim elements, letting players dungeon-crawl, battle monsters, and sell their finds in a town shop. Moonlighter 2 follows Cataclismo, the studio's tower defense game released earlier this year. Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault launches next year on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
