Kate, 25, shared a video on social media in which she faced her fears and opened boxes she had packed away in the wake of Liam's October passing. ”I've had these boxes sitting down here in my basement for probably three or four months now.” “I have just been absolutely dreading opening up these boxes and going through these things because they're just like the things I had in the last couple of months and weeks with Liam.” Kate tearfully shared she had found a box containing her dress from a wedding she and Liam had attended. “I’m really trying to pull it together right now - and I found this dress, was literally at the top of the box.” “This dress actually brings me so much peace and comfort because the memory that me and Liam had in this dress was a memory I will never forget.” She also found her shoes and explained she and Liam had "danced the night away", ruining them in the process, and expressed relief at not having thrown them away. Liam died on 16 October 2024, after the former One Direction star fell from a hotel balcony in Argentina.
