Dead Man's Bones, the rock duo comprised of Gosling and Zach Shields, posted a video on their Instagram on Thursday teasing new music on 27 October. In the announcement video, a man's face appears in the middle of a spiral and makes a spooky proclamation. "Dead man's bones must wait to rise, from the house where shadows cry. All of this must change, when our ghosts must leave our world for this, to dance with us at twilight time, and bring your hand to lie in mine,"
