Trump Booed At NBA Finals In New York. President Donald Trump was booed by sections of the crowd as he attended the NBA Finals in New York, becoming the first sitting US president to attend the championship series. The reaction came after fans faced lengthy delays and tight security measures outside Madison Square Garden ahead of the game. Boos were heard when Trump appeared on the arena’s giant screens during the national anthem. The president attended the match alongside his granddaughter Kai Trump, Knicks owner James Dolan and several members of his administration. On the court, the New York Knicks were beaten 115-111 by the San Antonio Spurs in game three of the NBA Finals. The result reduced New York’s lead in the best-of-seven series to 2-1. New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani and a number of celebrities were also in attendance.
