The Cadillac CT4 is dead — but it’s not all bad news. Sedans are disappearing fast in the US, and Cadillac is the latest brand to slim down its lineup. The luxury automaker has confirmed it will end production of both the CT4 and CT5 models after the 2026 model year. CT4 production will stop in June, while the CT5 will continue until the end of the year — but it’s not the end for the CT5 entirely. Cadillac says a next-generation version is already in development and will keep its gasoline engine. The new model will be built in Michigan at GM’s Lansing Grand River Assembly plant, which currently produces Cadillac’s sedans. In a letter to fans, Cadillac’s Vice President John Roth said the company is “well positioned to adapt its portfolio to meet customer demand,” calling the move proof of Cadillac’s flexibility in a changing auto market.
