Teasing details about one song fans will hear on the record, Perrie explained she took inspiration from the explosive end of a friendship and the star famously fell out with former Little Mix co-star Jesy after she quit the group in December 2020. Teasing the track, Perrie told The Zach Sang Show in the US, "There's a friendship that I no longer have.” "I wrote a song about that. That song - I can't even listen to it without crying.
