The Prince and Princess of Wales Return to Royal Duties. The Prince and Princess of Wales visited London’s Natural History Museum on Thursday, their first duty since the summer break. A downpour cut short the garden tour, but they still met pupils and saw the learning spaces. Museum patron Catherine, Princess of Wales, drew attention with a lighter hairstyle as she greeted visitors alongside Prince William. Opened in 2024, the gardens feature diverse habitats for children to explore nature and wildlife. Catherine has long promoted outdoor learning, co-designing the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show’s ‘Back to Nature’ garden. The couple’s last public appearance was in August, attending church near Balmoral with their family. Prince William will visit Brazil this autumn to mark the Earthshot Prize’s fifth anniversary. The Waleses plan to move from Adelaide Cottage to Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park after Catherine’s cancer recovery.
