Will Mellor's daughter is 'too scared' to go outside amid riots. The Hollyoaks actor took to social media and vented his frustration at the violence happening across the UK following the murder of three young girls in Stockport. Will was left fuming after learning his 16-year-old daughter Renee was so terrified of the unrest she was afraid to leave the house. “You know, my daughter, came to me the other day and she was scared about going out because of everything that's going on in the streets of England. That's wrong man. How can we not all see that all we are is people - that's all we are.The actions of a few don't represent the rest.” Will also revealed seeing so much hatred online had taken its toll on him. ”I'm sick of waking up to all of this horrible, negative, hateful, s**t on social media.” The 48-year-old star then called for people to stand together and promote love not hate. ”We do need to sort that out, but the only way we do that is by coming together as people.” Will's comments came as police officers prepared to prevent further damage and disruption from 100 planned riots on Wednesday evening. Many far-right demonstrators were met with thousands of peaceful counter-protestors across towns and cities in England.
