Miley Cyrus reflects on past ‘mistakes’. The singer has told how she believes the "mistakes" she's made in her life are all part of her journey. Her admission came during an Instagram chat with Pamela Anderson to promote new film, The Last Showgirl. Starring Pamela, Miley performs song, Beautiful That Way, on its soundtrack. In the interview, the Flowers singer told the actress how she desperately wanted to be her when she was growing up. ”Ever since I was little, it was only Pam when people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grow up. I would say you. And the whole thing. The tattoos, the hair, all of it. That's all I wanted to do.” She added that she's loved seeing the former Baywatch star evolve over the years. ”I've had so many different pivots and evolutions and - one might say - detours within my path. But it always ends up coming back around to make the next stage of who we are. Something that's more potent, something that's more real.” "Funnily enough when I look back, all the mistakes, anything I was unsure of or I didn't understand, I am so proud of every moment and now every stage of my life. I would not go back and change anything - except a couple things I was wearing.” Pamela, 57, agreed. "Sometimes you need to go do a little research and come back to your path”. She recalled how she used to want to "let everything go" from her past, but a director told her "'No, bring it with you, baby’”. She added, "I'm not ashamed of my life. I don't need to let anything go”.
