Spice Girls feature on commemorative stamps to celebrate 30th anniversary. Fifteen stamps are being issued by Royal Mail in the U.K. to mark the iconic girl group's milestone anniversary. The former girl band, who are the sixth music group to feature in a dedicated stamp issue, said in a statement: ”We are so excited to be celebrated by Royal Mail, alongside some of the most iconic and influential music legends. When we formed the Spice Girls we couldn't have dreamt that 30 years later we would be the first female group to be dedicated an entire stamp collection, that's Girl Power!” Ten of the postage stamps feature snaps from a selection of the British group's performances from 1997 to 2012 including the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics and their 1997 Brit Awards performance. Other stamps include an image of Geri Halliwell-Horner in her iconic Union Jack dress and Victoria Beckham performing during The Return of the Spice Girls Tour at Madison Square Garden in New York City in 2008. The final five stamps feature individual images of the singers from a photoshoot from Spice World, the group's 1997 musical comedy film. This will be the first time Royal Mail has dedicated stamps to a female pop group. The legendary group, made up of Victoria, Geri, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown - also known as Posh, Ginger, Baby, Sporty and Scary Spice - formed in 1994. They officially disbanded in February 2001 to pursue solo projects. The stamps will be available to buy from 11 January. THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
