Pirate Yakuza Sets Sail with Strong Steam Launch. Eurogamer reports that Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza has launched with impressive numbers on Steam achieving the series' second-highest concurrent player count to date. Over the weekend, 22,327 players logged in, trailing only behind Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. The launch also coincided with Steam breaking its all-time concurrent user record, hitting 39.92 million players online. While Pirate Yakuza outperformed many previous titles in the franchise, it still drew about half the launch numbers of Infinite Wealth which peaked at 46,161 players. Still, with its nautical twist, it’s clear—pirates always make a splash!
