According to Billboard, Perry selected a young girl named McKenna during her concert in Detroit, Michigan on Sunday night, and waited for her and her friend to make their way to the stage from their seats high up in the area. McKenna, who appeared overcome with emotion, hugged the singer when they arrived on stage.
