King Charles Diagnosed With Cancer. Buckingham Palace made the announcement on Feb. 5, 'The Hill' reports. "During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted." "Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer." "His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties." "Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual." Buckingham Palace, via statement. A more specific diagnosis has not yet been revealed. The king is currently receiving outpatient treatment, according to the palace. He "remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible," the palace said. Prince Harry, who resides in California, will reportedly fly to Britain in the next few days to spend time with his father. The king's other son and heir to the throne, Prince William, is scheduled to conduct "an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace" on Feb. 8, 'The Hill' reports.
