Tencent Developing Mobile Version of 'Elden Ring’. According to a recent update from Eurogamer, there are indications that Tencent is in the process of developing a mobile game for Elden Ring. Reuters reports that in 2022, the company secured licensing rights for Elden Ring from FromSoftware, and subsequently assembled a team to develop a prototype. Insiders suggest that progress on the project has been slow, and Tencent is aiming to transform the mobile version of Elden Ring into a free-to-play title with in-app purchases, similar to the monetization model used in Genshin Impact. In the same year Tencent secured Elden Ring's licensing rights, it also boosted its ownership in FromSoftware to 16.25 percent. There is still no update on the release date for Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, one year after its announcement. THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
