Caption: Mick Jagger considering leaving $500 million music catalogue to charity. Mick Jagger has revealed he may not leave his $500 million music catalogue to his children. While speaking to The Wall Street Journal for an interview published on Tuesday, the Rolling Stones singer teased his plans for his $500 million (£410 million) music catalogue. “The children don't need $500 million to live well. Come on.” The singer hinted that he had no plans to sell his music catalogue, and would prefer leaving it to charity after his death. He noted, “Maybe (it would) do some good in the world.” Mick has eight children, including 52-year-old Karis Hunt Jagger, 51-year-old Jade Sheena Jezebel Jagger, 39-year-old Elizabeth Scarlett Jagger, 38-year-old James Leroy Augustin Jagger, 31-year-old Georgia May Ayeesha Jagger, 25-year-old Gabriel Luke Beauregard Jagger, 24-year-old Lucas Maurice Morad-Jagger, and six-year-old Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger. Other celebrities including Ashton Kutcher, Gordon Ramsay, Bill Gates, Sting, and Elton John have expressed their plans not to leave fortunes to their children. “Of course I want to leave my boys in a very sound financial state. But it's terrible to give kids a silver spoon,” Elton told The Mirror in 2016. “It ruins their life.” THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
