Caption: Travis Kelce tried to delete tweets before they went viral. During Wednesday's episode of his podcast, New Heights, with his brother Jason Kelce, the American football star addressed his past X/Twitter posts, which recently went viral. Jason joked, "Maybe the biggest news of the past week is the Travis Kelce tweets circa 2009-2011. It has been all over the news. When you go back and read them, what does Travis Kelce think?”. Travis, 34, responded, "I'm just using Twitter as like a diary. There's no... I'm just out here saying nonsense. 'I just gave a squirrel a piece of bread' and spelt 'squirrel' like a jacka**.” Travis was referring to an X/Twitter post that he shared in April 2011, which read: ”I just gave a squirle a peice of bread and it straight smashed all of it!!!!! I had no idea they ate bread like that!! Haha #crazy (sic).” Jason said of the post with a laugh, "First of all, that's the new spelling for squirrel. I don't know why they spelt it the other way. I think the only reason this one gets crushed is because of the spelling. But I'd be pretty... if I'm throwing bread around and a squirrel is eating it, I'd be pretty pumped up.” The Kansas City Chiefs star explained that he no longer posts on the platform and has even tried to remove his previous posts. ”I mean, that's why I don't tweet anymore. It's just nonsense. Nobody followed me back then. But I will say, I have been trying to get those old tweets deleted since I've gotten to the league. But sure enough, it came to surface level.” "Everybody f**king dove in to 2011. What a f**king year that was. What was I even f**king doing in some of these tweets?”. Travis's old tweets were dug up by Taylor Swift fans following the start of their romance. THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
