Headline: UNCAPTIONED: Sean 'Diddy' Combs denies rape allegation in court papers

Caption: Sean 'Diddy' Combs denies rape allegation in court papers. The musician was sued in December by an unnamed woman who accused him and two other men of raping her in a recording studio in 2003 after allegedly supplying her with "copious amounts" of alcohol and drugs when she was 17 years old. In court documents filed on Tuesday, Combs, 54, denied the allegation. According to the documents, Combs "never participated in, witnessed, or was or is presently aware of any misconduct, sexual or otherwise, relating to plaintiff in any circumstance whatsoever”. The rapper had previously taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to address the allegations against him, writing, "I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.” Additionally, his lawyers questioned the timing of the lawsuit and the "context, genuineness, and/or accuracy of the photographs" provided by the plaintiff, including an image of her sitting on Combs' lap. The case is being brought under the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law, which allows such claims to be brought outside the normal statute of limitations. The rapper's lawyers have argued that this violates his constitutional rights. In late 2023, two sets of allegations were filed against Combs under the Adult Survivors Act. Joi Dickerson-Neal accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 1991, while another unnamed woman alleged that the rapper and singer Aaron Hall raped her and a friend of hers in the early 1990s. No settlements or judgements have been reached in either case. Additionally, Combs' ex-girlfriend Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura accused him of raping her in 2018. The case was settled two days later.
