Headline: Adorable Baby Stoat Rescued In Scotland

Caption: This adorable little scamp is Sebastian, an incredibly cute baby stoat rehabilitated by staff at the Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) National Wildlife Rescue Centre. The rescue is a rare one as stoats are rarely taken into the charity’s care. He was found in Earlston, Berwickshire when he was only 3 weeks old, without a mum, and weighed just 260g and as you can see he was truly tiny when he first arrived at the centre. Happily he thrived and grew up fast! He was soon moved outside to a specialist aviary where he could learn natural behaviours. At 12 weeks, young stoats naturally disperse and leave their mother. So Sebastian was released on 25 July, when he reached his 12 week milestone and quickly moved on to enjoy the freedom of the forest!.
