Headline: Heartbroken On Valentine's Day? You Can See A Rat Or Roach Named After Your Ex Be Gobbled Up

Caption: Feeling heartbroken this Valentine’s Day? You can get your own back on that dastardly ex by naming a doomed cockroach or a rat after them. Staff at San Antonio Zoo have launched their Cry Me a Cockroach Fundraiser ahead of Valentine’s Day. It allows people to symbolically name a roach, rat, or veggie after their ex or anyone they want to consign to their past - which will then be fed to one of the Zoo’s animals. ”We are delighted to reintroduce the Cry Me a Cockroach Fundraiser this year, offering a delightfully unconventional way to celebrate Valentine's Day," said Tim Morrow, President & CEO of San Antonio Zoo. Let’s be honest - what could be more satisfying than watching a rodent named after that no longer special someone being gobbled up by a boa constrictor or monitor lizard? Those interested can participate in the Valentine's season by donating £5, £10, or £25. Each donor receives a digital certificate for their participation.
