Caption: Francia Raisa and Selena Gomez didn't speak 'for a year’. While speaking to Today.com for an interview published on Tuesday, the How I Met Your Father star admitted that she stopped talking to the Only Murders In The Building actress after the premiere of her 2022 documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind And Me. ”I'll be honest, we didn't speak for a year. I just was like, 'I need my space.’" While promoting the documentary in a Rolling Stone interview that year, Selena called Taylor Swift her "only friend" in Hollywood. Francia later commented "interesting" on an Instagram post about the story, sparking feud rumours between the pair. In July this year, Selena and Francia shut down the feud rumours. Selena posted a birthday tribute to Francia via Instagram, while Francia insisted to TMZ that she had "no beef" with the actress and singer. Francia revealed in her interview that Selena was unaware of some online gossip surrounding them until they met up for dinner in August this year. ”I told her everything. I was like, 'Girl, I don't know who started that rumour that you ended up in rehab because I got mad or whatever.' And she goes, 'That's a rumour?’" "I said, 'Oh, let me tell you about the last six years of my life.' So there was just a lot of misunderstanding even with the whole documentary - we hashed all that out.” Excited to "get to know each other" again, Francia joked, "Nice to meet you, this is a 35-year-old version of me. We're not 22 anymore.” Francia donated one of her kidneys to Selena in the summer of 2017. THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
