Ubisoft have confirmed that to celebrate the games 20th anniversary, the original Beyond Good & Evil is getting a fancy new remaster even though there is still no sign of Beyond Good & Evil 2. A store page popped up and was rapidly taken down on Xbox, which revealed a 4k, 60fps remaster is in the works. The remaster promises a host of upgrades, including the game’s audio and control as well as brighten up visuals. Also, cross-platform saves, achievements and autosaving. Ubisoft have also shared that the anniversary edition will drop in early 2024, so not quite bang on 20 years since launch, but fittingly for the infamously delay-prone series, a few months late.
