Headline: Killer Instinct is going free-to-play on PC
Caption: PC Gamer report that a whole decade after the game launched for free on Xbox One the original ‘90s fighting game is indeed now going free to play on PC. Killer Instinct always had a better reception on Xbox than on PC so it’s kind of a surprise that it’s not been shut down, but instead migrated to new servers in 2023. Developer Iron Galaxy has now also officially announced that the game is getting a new patch on PC and will be free-to-play, as part of its 10th anniversary.
