Caption: Cher would 'give anything' to be 70 again. The music icon, who turned 77 on 20 May this year, has confessed that she is not a fan of getting older. During an interview with Today, released on Tuesday, Cher discussed the 25th anniversary of her 1998 hit song Believe admitting that she is not thrilled by the milestone. ”It's not that amazing. It p**ses the f**k out of me.” When asked if she and ageing are "friends", Cher responded, “No!”. The Burlesque star noted that her mother, Georgia Holt, who passed away in December 2022 aged 96, had been less bothered by ageing. ”My mother didn't mind, but I do. I hate it. I'd give anything to be 70 again.” In September, the singer told Good Morning Britain that she does not let her age affect her style choices. ”I just can't believe I will be 80 at some point, sooner than I wish. And I will still be wearing my jeans and I will still be wearing long hair and I will still be doing the same stuff I've always done.” THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
