Headline: U.S. Coast Guard Helps In Hunt For Titanic Submarine

Caption: **RAW VIDEO** Coast Guard First District Command Center watch standers in Boston, Massachusetts, work to coordinate search efforts for the missing submarine that was due to investigate the wreck of the Titanic, on Tuesday (20June2023). As of Wednesday, a massive search and rescue effort was under way in the North Atlantic after the submersible went missing on Sunday. The research vessel Polar Prince lost contact with the crew of the Titan sub an hour and 45 minutes into their dive. There are five people on board and their oxygen supplies are thought likely to run out by around 10:00 GMT (06:00 EDT) on Thursday. A Canadian aircraft has detected "underwater noises" in the search area. Tour firm OceanGate says it is exploring all options to get the crew back safely, while government agencies have joined the rescue efforts. Watchstanders worked alongside the U.S. Navy and Canadian Coast Guard to plan and deploy search efforts.
