Mum-of-two Siama Ali from Bradford began baking in 2014 when a back injury brought her decade-long teaching career to an end. Armed with a whisk in her hand, Siama bravely decided to pursue her passion for baking full-time. Her edible treats can be compared to works of art which is why they've garnered plenty of attention online and even the Royal Family are fans of her work. In January 2020, Siama was given the opportunity to bake a showstopping display of cakes for Prince William and Kate Middleton when they visited her city. The royal couple were gifted a towering red, white, blue and gold cake and a number of cupcakes featuring photos from throughout their life. The baker has since been rewarded for her efforts with an invitation to attend a garden party at Buckingham Palace. A perfect blend of artistry and culinary skills, Siama's creations are a labour of love. Each bespoke cake takes three to five days to complete, with her output reaching around 30 spectacular cakes a month.
