Putin is reportedly seeking munitions from North Korea to advance his war on Ukraine. North Korea may be looking to Russia for help with the development of military satellites, analysts say. This was Kim's first time leaving North Korea since the pandemic. If Russia does enter into a munitions deal with North Korea, it would violate an international agreement. "No U.N. member state should violate Security Council sanctions against North Korea by engaging in an illegal trade of arms and must certainly not engage in military cooperation with North Korea that undermines the peace and stability of the international community." , South Korean Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lim Soo-suk, via briefing.
