Headline: UNCAPTIONED: X to Compete With LinkedIn by Launching New Job Listings Feature

Caption: X to Compete With LinkedIn by Launching New Job Listings Feature. X, formerly known as Twitter, will soon offer job listings and more. CEO Elon Musk took to the platform on Aug. 27 with the announcement. X has started to compile jobs and education data about users for "safety, security and identification purposes," 'Bloomberg' reports. Biometric information is also being collected. Engadget reports that this data is likely being collected to aid in creating X's job listings feature, among other things. Currently, some verified organizations, such as Workweek, can post job listings as scrolling cards in their bios. According to Workweek CEO Adam Ryan, the feature was included in the "verified for organizations" package that costs $1,000 a month. Musk teased the new feature in May as X acquired Laski, a tech startup that works in job matching. It was X's "first acquisition under Musk," Engadget reports.
