The defective part is prone to breakage, which could damage the rear tire and lead to reduced tire pressure, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The following motorcycles are affected by the recall: 2018-2019 FLDE, 2018-2021 FLHC, 2018-2023 FLHCS, 2018 and 2023 FLHCS ANV, 2020-2023 FXLRS, 2022-2023 FXLRST and 2022 FXRST. Harley-Davidson will mail letters notifying owners of recalled motorcycles by Sept. 5, 'USA Today' reports. Harley-Davidson dealerships will replace the defective part for free, according to the NHTSA. Customers with questions can call the motorcycle company's customer service at 1-800-258-2464.
