Caption: A series of exquisitely detailed dollhouses have been created. Constructed by a group of U.S. architects, builders and interior designers, the unique tiny homes will be sold to raise money for charity. The La Petite Maison Gala event saw miniature homes sold for as much as $18,000 (more than £14,000) at last year’s event. The homes feature bespoke wallpaper, hand-drawn art, tailored curtains and even mock candelabras. A closer look inside reveals charming details, including stylish coffee table art books, and a newspaper lying open on a bed a tiny plate of fruit alongside tiny bottles of alcohol. Last year the Texas event saw more than 350 attendees raising over $150,000 for A Shelter for Cancer Families which provides private residences and support services for families receiving cancer care. La Petite Maison Gala is to be held October 12, 2023, at The Junior League of Houston in Texas.
